Enchanting and sensitive pianist/composer/vocalist is a talent to be heard. Her warm, smoky, naivety in sexy vocals – judiciously interspersed between piano solos – beguile the listener.

Prior to Vancouver
Born in Chicago, the featured keyboardist on tour at the Sahara and Harrah’s in Las Vegas, Reno and Tahoe with the Lloyd Lindroth Show, plus on a double bill with Antonio Carlos Jobim in San Francisco. Later on with an all-girl trio with her sister, Fran, performed the opening for Diana Ross & The Supremes at the renowned Emerald Room at the Palmer House, Chicago.

Noteworthy Highlights on the Vancouver Local Scene
CBC recording live, “HOT AIR”, Volume 3, “Step Right Up” with Jare on B-3 Hammond Organ released June of ’02 (still played frequently on CBC). Several years ago, she established the band, Soultrax, a vibrant synthesis of R&B, Pop, Rock, Reggae exhilaration, “sinful soul to sizzling solos”– with an amalgamation of local world-class musicians. Their new CD, “Trippin On Track One”, debut, was performed at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival in Granville Island. With appearances at the historic Yale, coupled with their dynamic rapport, the band experienced return engagements by popular demand. Recently, the Silk Purse, West Van, featured Soultrax, a sell-out concert last September, ‘09 for their Jazz-Blues Arts Review. Duo, Trio and Beyond
The Fran Jaré Trio was featured for the last 3 years, at the Vancouver Art Gallery all summer, as well as concerts at Park Royal South Village on a weekly basis. Standing ovations were experienced at the Pender Harbor Jazz Festival in ’07. Appearing at the Jazz Cellar, from time to time, her quartet/quintet performed her originals/standards with Juno recipient, sax/flute artist, Tom Keenlyside. A sold-out concert at the Jazz Cellar exhibited her exciting feel on organ, reminiscent of the late Jimmy Smith and Shirley Scott at a B-3 Organ Event. A new cream-of-the crop Brazilian, Pan-Amenian, Afro-Cuban venture, Bem Bem Beo, a multi-talented 5-piece, has a concert at the Silk Purse, July 11, ’13 with a seminar June 6. Note: The link to a random live footage of her trio on U Tube can be viewed upon request.
